Michel "Sweet Micky" Martelly beat Mirlande Manigat in Haiti's presidential race yesterday.  Although I wanted Manigat to win, I am cautiously optimistic about Martelly's  actions as president.  Whether I thought he should win or not, I am praying that he is somebody who can begin to lead Haiti in the right direction...
